What is on my nightstand this week, 2015-12-26
I have a strange relationship to this book, I noted it based on a series of photos I saw by the author. (here) I picked up the book from the library, but neglected to read it. My wife did not, she read it, and continued reading the sequels. And just recently she had it recommended to her as a good series for the kid. Which she had not thought of because she had read it and had not thought of it as YA, even though that is where it is shelved. The kid loved it and is devouring the sequels as well.
Which brings us full circle and I am now reading, on the advice of my 9-year-old daughter, a book which I checked out years ago but forgot read before it was due.
Anyway, the book is a nice, creepy, book with both an interesting plot and voice. I will be finishing this one and moving on through the rest.
