Review: CONTINUUM
One of my favorite less talked about shows, CONTINUUM. The premise is that a police officer from 2077, along with bunch of terrorist, gets transported back to today. To ensure that she has home to go back to, the police officer must ensure the terrorists don’t change the past. Simple enough, except, the future is a pretty horrible corporate-run, dystopia. Though they might be murderers and criminals the terrorists might be on the right side of the fight. And, to make sure the future she comes from actually happens, does she need to stop the terrorists or let them win?
Blending some fun tech and some really interesting moral questions (especially in the current season), the show is one of the more interesting science fiction shows around right now. The problem is that the show is really unbalanced, it has great ideas that are never followed up on and continues plotlines better dropped. But, when it is on, the show really delivers. Not completely recommended, but stuck in the house sick or during inclement weather a good show to binge.
