For what is this existence I f not a juxtaposition of the foul and the sublime, the ugly and the gorgeous? We all have the inherent conflict in our lives, though the majority of us have experienced the socially acceptable sanitized versions of such thing.
A hell of a first sentence. And a hell of a book.
