That Which We Are Reading
Shiri: Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelly (1818).
(In the style of Kay Thompson’s Eloise)
Here is what I like: monster books with actual monsters.
Here is what I don’t like: Monster books containing long passages expounding the virtues of Plutarch.
Bring on Eckhart and the CGI.
Also: Monster, please beat Victor up and steal the whiny bitch’s lunch money.
Luke’s Reading List
Books: Finishing up Empire State. Holding off on an evaluation until I finish.
Comics: The Afterlife with Archie. Yes, you read that correctly, Archie like Archie and Jughead and Veronica and Betty. But, here is where it gets interesting, instead of the cartoony joke comic, this is a zombie story set in Riverdale. Major characters die, horribly, and it actually is some what jarring to see these characters in these disturbing situations. (And kind of fun, come on it is Archie and the gang eaten by zombies.)
