What is on my nightstand this week: FBP-The Federal Bureau of Physics
FBP-The Federal Bureau of Physics by Simon Oliver and Robbi Rodriguez
Strange book about pocket universes and the laws of physics failing. The world is being ripped apart by reality storms and gravity failing left and right. To attempt to combat this the Federal Bureau of Physics (FBP) was created. But (you saw that coming, right), things are not quite as simple as they appear and the threat of quantum storms might be just the beginning. Quirky art, and interesting storytelling have kept this one on my pull-list. Recommended.
Under the Banner of Heaven by Jon Krakauer
I tend to pick up non-fiction on the recommendation of others. This one kept popping up in conversation and referenced in other essays and posts. A fascinating look at how one religion can both be the creator of disturbingly nice individuals and mind-bendingly evil ones as well.
