Update from GenCon Writers Symposium
Well, I was going to do a long, long blog post going over the amazing sessions I attended today, the highlight of was a discussion with Bill Willingham of Fables fame about the decline and disappearance of the pure, unsullied hero (pre-George R.R. Martin definition of unsullied).
But, I am barely awake. I have copious notes that I will be drawing on, and will shoot to do a longer post tomorrow. Suffice to say, it has been an incredible day and I have every intention of coming back here again next year.
One side note, the trend that I am seeing here where the convention center lines up local food trucks to service the needs of the convention goers is a brilliant move and one can only hope that cons all over the world have already or will follow suit. It makes surviving the con much more pleasant.
